GuyBuffet is one of America’s most popular artists. Born in Paris, he first visited Hawaii in 1963 as an official artist of the French Navy. He returned a year later and lived on the island of Maui for many Years. He still spends much of his time there. This book cover’s the full range of Buffet’s work. It features paintings from Hawaii and France, as well as other locations such as Tahiti and California. Buffet, who grew up working in his family’s restaurant, is also known for his paintings celebrating the good life surrounded by food and wine.
